Bio -Daniel Chandler has been playing trombone for 15 years and has been a member of many bands and musical groups at both high school and also collegiate levels. As a result of his musical background and teaching experiences with the Boy Scouts of America, Daniel chose to pursue a Bachelor’s in Music Education at The Master’s College. While at The Master’s College, Daniel became heavily involved in a variety of musical groups including the Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and Chorale. As a part of the chorale tour to Albania in 2015, Daniel had the opportunity to perform trombone solos in numerous opera houses and professional venues. During his undergraduate studies Daniel was also involved in The Master’s College Opera Program, performing in such roles as Dick Deadeye in the H.M.S. Pinafore and Pooh-Bah in The Mikado.

Daniel is currently still attending The Master’s College (now The Master’s University) in pursuit of his California teaching credentials. He offers trombone lessons at Green Room Music Studios.

After completing his credential program, Daniel plans to teach music as a band director and will continue offering private trombone instruction. Daniel also plans to keep pursuing professional trombone playing in the LA area and will seek to continue growing in his teaching and performing.

Throughout his musical studies and experiences, Daniel has grown in his love for music and the trombone and is passionate to share what he has learned with others through trombone lessons. Whether the student is a beginner or is at an intermediate level, Daniel is set on helping them grow in their love for music and their love for the trombone. Daniel delights in seeing his students progress and love their learning, and he encourages them to pursue excellence in all of their musical endeavors.

Daniel is a gifted, talented, creative musician – and teacher. I have been the direct beneficiary of his teaching skills. While serving as The Master’s College Wind Ensemble President and Trombone Section Leader, Daniel worked with me to improve my musical technique through multiple ‘sectional’ and one-on-one practice times together.

Daniel’s patience while helping others to understand and work through problems benefits both his students and his colleagues. He demonstrates faithful focus on others by readily putting their needs ahead of his own. His intentional interactions with people attest to his compassionate and caring heart.
